Lauren Bergrud. Equestrian and Artist

Artist Statement:

The translation of art and life is a driving force for Lauren Bergrud's creations. To see something in different views, with alternate meanings, and finding hidden connections all allow her to have a better understanding of the world. A world where every individual needs to let go of what they see as important and sometimes learned tradition to see what is really happening and act in accordance.

An aggressive dominant force can never be in harmony and harmony gives strength and allows growth. For humans and nature to achieve a healthy balance there needs to be a relationship of give and take and an openness to listening and responding. Lauren's work expresses hope that humans will evolve to the degree that their supreme intelligence and awareness of life will aid in building harmony within themselves and other living things.
